I had the entire morning to myself today, Rae, so I finally managed to finish this one, too. (I'd started it last week but 'lost' it somehow). This is a fabulous story: convoluted, anguished, scary, frustrating, satisfying and just plain wonderful! I admit I had a bad feeling about Jimmy from the moment we meet him but you kept the story going with secrets and angst and hidden longings and feelings about both our guys until my guts were knotted up. I did adore the long sequence at the Magic Castle; it brought back all the terrific memories I have of the one evening I spent there. It was... well... magical. I love the way writers find different, fascinating ways to bring the boys together and this, imho, is one of the best. Thank you for putting it all together so perfectly. Pat
Uh, that'd be "you've" not you're. I need an editor...
Hi Mary, sorry I didn't see this until now, so nice of you! Yeah, I enjoyed that scene myself. Thanks so much for your nice comments. Very much appreciated.
PS what's Instapaper? Sounds interesting.
I had read this story a long while ago and loved it. Then, I couldn't find it online. I'm so happy to find this again and that I can save it to Instapaper. Thatnks to the writer for creating this jewel and for Flamingo and company to put it up on this site and in PDF form.
