I loved this when I read it as your Secret Santa gift, Spencer; and I loved it again here. What a uniquely Starsky thing: to come up with a celebration he and Hutch could share that would help them both move forward with their lives and relationship. This was beautifully conceived and then beautifully written. I'll definitely keep this in mind next Winter Solstice, even if it's only building a fire in a coffee can and burning up negative energies. Thank You!
You have done a great effort,i am impressed to see the reviews they are really very benificial.I will visit the website to read more.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
"Science said life had crawled it's way out from the sea. But sometimes he thought he and Starsky must have leaped together like sparks from a fire and, like the old saying, into the fire."
Such a lovely vision of our two guys! The whole theme of Winter solstice as a renewal of life is so appropo of Starsky's recovery after Gunther's assasination attempt. But more importantly, the renewal of his and Hutch's friendship after having somehow lost what they were to each other. Bravo. I loved this.
I'm so glad you liked my little story. We all need a fresh start every now and then.
