I'm Mystic, and I've been writing S&H fanfic since about 2002.  I write both gen and slash.  I enjoy writing, and I hope you enjoy taking this little journey with me.

Starsky was a happy man--homicide lieutenant, nice house, dog, cat, and fifteen years of domesticity with the person he loved who loved him back. Yes, Starsky was a happy man, if only his perfect partner wasn't so aggravating!

OMG, this is hysterical!  I loved this series.  I laughted, sometimes until I cried.  Absolutely charming.  Thank you for sharing it.

Starsky might not know everything about his partner.

I loved the line, "Or maybe they wouldn't talk, and just jump."  And I loved, "First time we do that, I want it to be somewhere it can be long, wet, and messy."  Ahhhhh!

This was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it immensely!  Thank you for sharing!

Close calls for both him and Starsky bring a host of memories home for Hutch, when he and Starsky travel to New York for the December holidays.

Oh wow. I am wiping away tears. That was AWESOME! It was so real and so sweet. And I lost it when I read that "he was homesick for somewhere he'd never been." God. I'm going to cry again.  I loved this story.   I wanted to hug Rachel and give her a great big smooch on the cheek for helping him. Bravo.

Sometimes the best rescue is the small one.

This story could so easily have been a heartbreaker, but with a partner's gentle care, it was full of compassion and hope. I walked away with a little smile.

Favorite lines:

Then he had met Hutch's grandfather, and it all became clear.

You didn't bring that parade float out here, did you?

Do that and you'll be swapping me mattresses, Hutchinson.

Mission accomplished, he started to rise quietly from the bed...but as soon as his weight shifted, Hutch's eyes slitted open, and one white-wrapped hand reached out.

(Thereis something so incredibly charming about that white wrapped hand waving about trying to find him.  Warms my heart.)
